Five years ago, we launched our Dream.  Retro Roast & Fountain!

This came from our dream of having a coffee shop—a really good espresso bar--in our own town.   Loretto.   We dreamed of creating a place where, ‘everybody knows your name’ and there is something for everyone in the family.

As dreams sometimes do, that first chapter of our dream started to come alive with a 50s style ambiance.  So it seemed natural to add a soda fountain with old fashioned ice cream to compliment the great espresso drinks!

And then pull the 50s into this new century with fresh-made wraps and sandwiches,
contemporary scones, good bakery treats and our signature Cool-orettos.  We have created an atmosphere that has something for every generation!

Plus Retro Catering and Retro On Line.

Our planning horizon was to create Retro and operate it for the five year term of our lease.  That brings us now to the celebration of our fifth anniversary.

Though the economy has been dismal, Retro is finishing up its BEST YEAR EVER!

So, going out when you are “on top” is the finest ending to a dream anybody could wish for.
A really good dream. A dream come true!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for being our friends during this journey.   The gift of the friendships we share will be with us for a lifetime.
